Can this plastic bottle be used like glass for canning BBQ sauces? Im currently hot filling pint mason jars and getting good seals. Im trying to decide whether to use your glass or plastic 10 or 12 oz sauce bottles. Which cap do you recommend for hot filling/vacuum seal?
The PET Plastic does not provide resistance to high temperature applications (max. temperature 160° F), making it incompatible with hot filled products. To create a vacuum seal, you would need to use glass bottles with a metal cap and rubber gasket (cap code M). We recommend our

Ring Neck Sauce Bottles for your sauce.

The maximum hot fill temperature for this bottle is 140°.
How can I seal the bottle with inner seal cap? Do I need any equipment in order to seal the bottle?
The pressure sensitive inner seals adhere to the bottle opening when the closure is applied. No extra equipment is required.
What size rectangular label do I need for the 12 oz Ring Neck Sauce Round Bottle? Can I use an oval shaped label and what size would you recommend?
The circumference of the bottle measures 7.14" and the maximum label height is 4". You can also look up the dimensions for all our bottles online by clicking on the bottle size.

Absolutely! If you head to the top of the website, you will see the category for closures. You will be looking for a neck finish of 38/400 in a cap to fit this bottle!
