Dear Jane - Your caps would need to match the 58/400 neck finish of the bottle. However, it is easiest if you select your bottle quantity, then choose the metal lids (M) on the following page, and the quantity and size of your closures will automatically match the bottles you ordered.

Can these jars be used for canning or take under hot pressure?
Yes, these glass jars are suitable for home canning when used with the metal closures that have the inner rubber gaskets.
Please provide sealing instructions for these that is FDA approved for retail sale. Also - do you have a 24 oz size? Thank you.
Our jars and lids are FDA food grade and the jars will create a vacuum seal with the metal lids when used correctly. For more information, please reference the

We offer black plastic caps for these jars, however, the plastisol lined metal lids only come in white.

The inner diameter of the neck is 1.75 inches.
