Customer Questions

Q: Hi, Are these bottles ready to fill with a food product or do they need to be cleaned first

A: While all of our products are made from food grade material they do get dusty during transport and warehousing. We do recommend washing out any bottles or jars you intend on using for food.

Q: can i use these to can?

A: Yes, you can use these bottles to can, but you must also use the Metal (M) caps as well. The plastisol liner of the Metal caps will maintain a vacuum seal with the glass bottle.

Q: I am a designer making a label for the 12 oz bottle. Can you give me the standard label dimensions this bottle? Thanks.

A: The recommended label dimensions for this bottle are 4" x 7.5"

Q: Is one of these bottles 8 inches tall?

A: The 8 oz. bottle is 7" tall, and the 12 oz. bottle is 7.75" tall. You can also look up the dimensions for all our bottles by clicking on the bottle size.

Q: Im trying to design labels for your glass bottle #1404. Can you give me dimension of the 12oz bottle?

A: The suggested label dimensions for the 12 oz. bottle are 4" x 7.5".

Q: Which lid do you recommend for bottling syrup? The first time I bought these, I think I got white ribbed with the pressure seal discs. Does that sound right? If there is a more appropriate option please let me know.

A: The fine ribbed caps with pressure sensitive inner seals are a good option, as long as you make sure that the bottle opening is clean and dry before applying the caps. If your product requires a vacuum seal, you would need to go with the Metal Caps instead.

Q: What size label will I need for the 8oz. bottle ?

A: The circumference of the bottle is 6.283" and the maximum label height is 3.75".

Q: What size labels do I use on this bottle? Is there a special machine to put the labels on the bottles?

A: The recommended label dimensions for the 8 oz bottle are 3.5" x 5.5", and for the 12 oz. bottle they are 4" x 7.5". However, these are just suggestions and can be modified according to your specific needs. We dont offer any labeling services or equipment and recommend that you contact or for all your labeling needs.

What is good: Easy to fill and a nice looking bottle. Plus you can seal it with the tin caps.
What is not so good: I shipped it regular UPS for the cost of $35. Then was charged $20 for broker fees and duty (duty was approximately $1...the rest was brokerage fees). This makes the bottles over $6 each when I ordered 12.
About the service: Was in delivery process the next day and very well packed for the long trip. No damage when I received them.

Product use: Bottles were filled with Lemonade, added a 10 1/2 inch grey and white stipped paper straw, added a construction paper mint leaf tied to the Paper Straw with twine. This served as the place card for my daughters wedding. Everyone loved the idea and appreciated the cool lemonade as they walked into the reception hall.
