Customer Questions

Q: I need this in a 1 oz with a needle tip and cap

A: While we do not carry the boston round in a 1oz we do have a cylinder round in a 1oz with a spout cap.

Q: Do these bottles come in black?

A: We dont carry these in black, however, they are available in Cobalt Blue, Amber, or Green (made from PET Plastic).

Q: Do you carry 32oz boston round white bottles?

A: We only carry the white Boston Rounds in the 2, 4 and 8 oz sizes listed online, however, you might want to consider the Cosmo Rounds, Cylinder Rounds, or Modern Rounds, all of which are available in the 32 oz size you are looking for.

Q: Is this bottle approved for food usage? Also, do you have a similar style 8oz bottle with a larger mouth?

A: Yes, all our bottles are FDA food grade approved. For a similar style with a larger mouth, we suggest that you check out the 250 cc HDPE Pharmaceutical Rounds here.

Q: Bottle Neck Finish- you list 20/410 and 24/410. Is that 20mm and 24mm? What is the 410?

A: Yes, that is 20mm and 24mm diameter. The 410 refers to the thread style. For example: How many threads/inch, the pitch and thickness of the threads, and how many turns around the bottle neck. "400" will use a short cap, "410" a medium height cap, and "415" a tall cap.

Q: Is the lid included in the price?

A: Since there is typically more than one cap option per bottle, the lids are sold separately. Once you select your bottle quantity, you will be prompted to select your lids on the following page.

Q: Which is translucent? white or natural?

A: The natural bottles are translucent and the white bottles are opaque.

Q: 2.oz bottles - need 500-1000 with sprout top for conditioner and shampoo. Want to either have silk-screened or labels made with our website : truesalon.com and logo. How much and do you source or print labels? Thx,Kevin

A: Dear Kevin - A case of 1,000 white 2 oz. Boston Rounds with Spout Caps is $420 ($410 for the natural bottles) plus the cost for shipping and handling. For labels, we suggest that you contact www.onlinelabels.com or www.simplylabels.com.

Q: What is the openings size? Looking for a bottle like this in 8oz w/ a 1.5" thread

A: For the 8 oz. bottle, the outer diameter of the thread is 24 mm (= .945").

Q: What does HDPE stand for, and what is the difference between it, and PET bottles? Thank You, Ramona

A: Please find a description of both types of plastic below: HDPE stands for High Density Polyethylene. It is the most widely used resin for plastic bottles. This material is economical, impact resistant, and provides a good moisture barrier. HDPE is compatible with a wide range of products including acids and caustics but is not compatible with solvents. It is supplied in FDA approved food grade. Plastic Bottles made from HDPE are naturally translucent and flexible. The addition of color will make HDPE bottles opaque although not glossy. We carry HDPE bottles in white and natural. HDPE plastic bottles lend themselves readily to silk screen decoration. While HDPE bottles provide good protection at below freezing temperatures, they cannot be used with products filled at over 160° F or products requiring a hermetic (vacuum) seal. HDPE is NOT suitable for use with essential oils. Plastic Bottles made from Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) are commonly used for carbonated beverage bottles. PET provides very good alcohol and essential oil barrier properties, generally good chemical resistance (although acetones and ketones will attack PET) and a high degree of impact resistance and tensile strength. The orienting process serves to improve gas and moisture barrier properties and impact strength. This material does not provide resistance to high temperature applications -- max. temp. 160° F. We carry PET bottles in clear, amber, cobalt blue and green.

Q: How do I know if your products are BPA free? Could you tell me? Thanks, Brittany

A: Brittany - Please note that all of our bottles are BPA free and FDA food grade. Feel free to call us toll free at 888-215-0023 if there is anything else we can further assist you with.

Q: do you sale 50ml boston rounds for e juice?

A: We do have the 50ml plastic bottles for eliquid, but in clear PET material. Here is a link: https://www.ebottles.com/showbottles-bottle-1558-kw-ELIQUID_CHILD_RESISTANT_DROPPER___CLEAR_PET.htm In the LDPE material we only stock the 2 oz. size.

What is good: Good product service and price
What is not so good: I would prefer low density. I use them as squirt bottles and low density are more flexible
From eBottles: Phil, thank you for your feedback. We agree, low density pe bottles are a better choice for a squirt bottle. The problem we found is that low density bottles cost a lot more, and no one wanted to buy them because they were expensive. Thanks again for your feedback!
