If you are looking to cretae a vacuum seal, you may want to consider the 16 oz. BBQ Sauce Bottle that we carry in glass (item code 334). Q: Do you have these in 12 ounce size? Is this the same ounce size as the one that was discontinued? A: We only carry the 16 oz size. The discontinued bottle was 16 oz as well, the only difference is that the new bottle is 1/2" taller. Q: Will this bottle lose its shape when hot liquid is poured into it? Im looking for a bottle that is this shape and heat resistant (will not lose shape) A: This material does not provide resistance to high temperature applications -- max. temp. is 160° F. Exceeding this temperature may affect the integriy of the plastic and alter the bottle shape. |

Q: Can I use this bottle for BBQ Sauce?
A: Yes, this bottle can be used for BBQ Sauce.
Q: Can this be used for bbq sauce which has to be put in the bottle at 200 deg F.
A: These bottles are made from PET plastic which is incompatible with hot filled products. We dont carry any plastic bottles that are suitable for hot filling and recommend that you use Glass Bottles and Metal Caps with inner gaskets instead.
Q: for the 16oz plastic or glass bottles how many closure caps in a bag and how many in bulk?
A: It is best if you select your bottle quantity first, then choose your caps on the following page. That way, your cap size and quantity will automatically match the size and quantity of your bottles. For the 16 oz. Salad Dressing Bottles, there are 48 bottles in a bag, and 206 in a case.

Q: how to the bottles come? do they come with lids already closed on them with the shrink wrap around the cap sealed? because how do you put the sauce in if the bottle is already sealed?
A: The bottles, lids and shrink bands come separately to allow for you to fill the bottles with your product first, then apply the lids and shrink bands.
Q: If we sell our salad dressing would we be able to use these caps with pressure seal or would we need jar with metal seals?
A: Any of the caps offered can be used with the salad dressing bottle; it really depends on your personal needs and preferences which cap is right for you. If you decide to use the caps with pressure sensitive inner seals, make sure that the rims of your bottles are completely clean and dry before you apply the closures, so that the seal can stick to the bottle. You can also use regular fine-ribbed or smooth-sided lined closures in black or white, or white flip top caps, and add shrink bands on the outside for tamper evidence. | Product use: I couldnt be happier with my purchase. These things are amazing!! We pour salad dressing into them and then we twist on a cap. It couldnt be easier. I dont know who thought of this but its quite the breakthrough. Unlike other bottles weve used the dressing we pour into them actually stays in the bottle until we unscrew the lid, so easy, and tilt the bottle to allow the dressing to pour out. Tilt it a little you get a little, tilt is more and you get more. What a concept? Its not at all like the problems you could have as illustrated by this classic poem: Shake, shake, shake the ketchup bottle. None will come out and then a lotl! I could go on and on about how things in my life have improved now that were using these bottles but Im sure youve heard similar things from countless satisfied customers. So, thanks again for supplying us with these, dare I say, miracles. You will all be rewarded in the next world. | ||
