We recommend removing the metal wire closures prior to running the bottles through the dishwasher or hand-washing the bottles. Thank you A: The inside diameter of the bottle neck is not the same all the way down. It slightly curves outwardat the top, and then inward again, before meeting the shoulder of the bottle. Q: Do you carry a rectangluar shaped bottom one.
A: We only carry the Swing Top Flasks (which come closest to a rectangular shaped bottom), Swing Top Squares (square bottom), and Swing Top Rounds (round bottom). Unfortunately, we dont have a rectangular shaped bottom one.
Q: IS the top porcelain or plastic.
A: The top is made from plastic but preserves the porcelain look of old.
Q: Can these bottles be ordered without the swing top? I would like to use a cork and then shrink wrap the top
A: The swing tops are already attached to the bottles, but they can easily be removed using a lever (such as a pen).
Q: Can you tell me the inside diameter of the opening? I made some cherry brandy and would like to fit some cherries into the bottle.
A: The inner diameter of the Swing Top Flasks is about 3/4".
Q: Are these bottles made in Italy?(I hope)
A: Yes, these bottles are made in Italy.
Q: where is this bottle made and is it safe to have liquid that you consume in it?
A: All our bottles are FDA food grade approved and the Swingtop Flasks are made in Italy.
Q: First time order, I want a box of the 500ml swing tops. How soon can you get them here?
A: Orders placed by 1 PM EST usually ship the same day, provided the items are in stock. Transit time is anywhere from 1-6 business days, depending on where you are located. All orders ship via UPS Ground from Bethel, CT.
Q: I have labels that are 4 1/2 inces high. Will they fit onto the smooth, flat part of the large flask?
A: No, the maximum label height for the 500 ml Flask is about 2.5" for a square label and about 3.5" for a round label.
Q: Do you sell the labels to go on the bottles?
A: We dont provide any labeling services, but we suggest that you contact www.onlinelabels.com or www.simplylabels.com for your labeling needs.
Q: how many ounces does the smaller one hold in liquid. Need to bottle lemoncello. There is another bottle that is thinner. Also, how much would it be for 50 of them.
A: The 250 ml size holds about 8.5 oz. in liquid. For 50 bottles, you would purchase a case of 30 bottles and an additional 2 bags of 10, or, you can get 2 cases of 30 for the same price.
Q: Where are these bottles manufactured? I need to know if they are made in the USA.
A: The Swing Top Flasks are made in Italy.
Q: Are these bottles rated to hold pressure from carbonated beverages ?
A: These bottles are FDA food grade approved and can be used for beverages with low carbonation. Please note that we cannot make any warranties and always recommend that you test your product in the container you choose prior to use.
Q: I would like to store limoncello in my freezer. Will these bottles work in the freezer? Thanks!
A: Based on the feedback we receive, a lot of our customers are using these bottles for Limoncello and store them in the freezer, however, we cannot make any guarantees and always recommend that you test your product in the container you choose prior to use.
